I am beginning a new project in creating a full tarot deck. 78 cards, 78 prompts, 78 new and inspiring works to showcase new and inspiring talent.
The deck will be done in my new and developing style: Models photographed and merged with 3D rendered environments. Owing a debt to early 20th century pictorialist photographers, academic, neoclassical, & pre-raphaelite painters, the style is developing and may show considerable change over the course of the deck’s creation.
This is an example of the new style described above. The model’s environment is a 3D rendering, the model herself is composited in and the beginnings of making the image look more like an oil painting have begun. At this point, the style is in its infancy, and executions is obviously not fully developed.
Stylistic Inspiration
The images below give a look into the style of painting that I will be seeking to emulate through digital manipulation of the final composite of model photography and 3D rendering. I will not be utilizing generative artificial intelligence to create backgrounds or to adjust style for this project.

You’ll need to upload a couple of photos of yourself: one close up of your face and one 3/4 or full-length to show your figure; see an example of good application photos here.
