What Happens After You Apply?

If you’ve submitted an application to collaborate, here’s what to expect

next.

Initial Review

I usually review new applications within a few days. Not every application will receive a response—especially if it’s incomplete, missing photos, or doesn’t meet the basic requirements.

If You Live in Northeast Nebraska, Southeast South Dakota, or Northwest Iowa

New collaborators start with a short, in-person meeting. This is a relaxed way for us to get acquainted and for you to ask questions about the process.

  • We’ll meet somewhere easy to find, like a local coffee shop.
  • You don’t need to prepare anything special—just be yourself.
  • If we both feel it’s a good fit, I’ll follow up within a few days about scheduling your first session.

Punctuality and clear communication are important. If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as you can—no need to explain or apologize.

If You’re Outside the Region

We’ll set up a video chat. Because we won’t meet in person right away, I’ll usually ask for extra photos to get a clear sense of your look, including any tattoos or piercings.

Before we talk, please be sure you’ve reviewed the portfolio to understand what this project involves.

After the Interview

f there’s a project that feels like a match, I’ll be in touch within a few days. If you don’t hear back right away, feel free to follow up after about a week. Sometimes there’s a backlog, or sometimes there simply isn’t an open project that fits.

You probably won’t receive detailed feedback on your application, and I don’t send formal rejection notices. If I’m interested, you’ll hear from me.

A Note About Applying

I know it takes courage to put yourself forward, especially if this is your first time considering figure modeling. Whether or not we end up working together, I appreciate your interest and the thought you’ve put into applying.
