We are currently seeking models for figure photography who possess not only a visually appealing face but also the appropriate body and personality to excel in this field. Our projects cater to various body types, leading to frequently asked questions such as: “What specific body types do you require?”, “Is having abs mandatory for modeling positions?”, and “How tall must I be to qualify for model hiring?”
If your physique aligns with one of the following categories and complements your striking facial features, we encourage you to reach out or apply to join our team as a photo model. These are paid opportunities that allow both experienced professionals and newcomers to showcase their talents in front of the camera while earning money within the realm of figure modeling jobs. Please note that our projects may require an array of body types beyond those explicitly listed, so feel free to apply regardless of your specific physique.
Fitness model body – Lean muscle defines this type of body. Dancers and fitness enthusiasts can be considered candidates for art modeling. While a competition bodybuilder might be too muscular for our shoots, we have worked with many fitness models who compete in bikini divisions of contests. The athletic model body’s toned muscles and strong physique can portray a variety of flexible poses and a healthy appearance.
Dynamic model body – This compact and fit body type is dynamic and feminine, with a strong core and limbs that allow for a wide range of active poses and a fit appearance. The agility and flexibility of the gymnast or cheerleader are ideal for conveying various moods and poses in front of the camera.
Fashion model body – Tall and slender models are suited to art modeling as well as commercial jobs in the fashion industry, appearing on Charleston Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Charlotte Fashion Week, and other runway shows. Runway models typically range between 5’8″ and 6’0″, with a slender physique that can be busty or less well endowed. This is the body type often associated with commercial fashion modeling.
Delicate model body – Around 5’4″ (give or take two inches) and proportioned appropriately, this smaller frame and slim build can bring an extremely feminine flair to art modeling jobs.
Victoria’s Secret model body – Characterized by a larger bust and trim hips, this body type is ideal for art modeling. Tall slender models who are more busty than a typical runway fashion model often find themselves doing lingerie and swimwear modeling. Athletic yet feminine, those with a Victoria’s Secret model body are encouraged to apply for art modeling jobs.
Retro Siren model body – Curvaceous, feminine, healthy, and fit pinup models can create alluring art images. A well-proportioned natural body combined with soft facial features and beautiful hair is desirable.
Venus model body – With an hourglass figure, this model body typically has a small waistline with large bust measurements. This type of body is often considered classic and versatile for a variety of art modeling themes.
Minimalist model body – A toned and lean, slender model can create a wide range of art modeling poses. Defined facial features that accompany a slender body include attractive cheekbones, a lean jawline, and a slender neck.
The Elven Model Body – Characterized by its ethereal grace, elongated lines, and delicate features that evoke a sense of mystique and otherworldliness. This body type often has slender limbs with long fingers and toes, an angular face with high cheekbones and an elegant jawline, and a petite yet well-proportioned frame. The Elven Model Body is ideal for art modeling projects that aim to capture fantastical or otherworldly themes, as it can effortlessly convey the enchanting allure often associated with elves in mythology and folklore. This body type is versatile and adaptable, capable of portraying a wide range of emotions and expressions through its graceful movements and delicate features.
